The twenty-three artists in this exhibition define and interpret the idea of "Connections." The artists utilize a variety of 3-D media in order to depict their personal vision regarding different kinds of connections (physical, spiritual or ideological connections, personal relationships, associations, family, etc.).

THE JUROR, PATRICIA MEADOWS, is the Curator the Texas Sculpture Garden of Hall Office Park in Frisco, Texas. Ms. Meadows is also the owner of Art Connections, an art consulting company. Previously, she was the curator of the Dallas Visual Art Center (1986-1998) and Exhibition Director of the Texas State Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts (1987-1999).

Ms. Meadows’ career highlights include originating the Critic's Choice, the Collectors, the Legend Award, Texas Women (a survey exhibition featuring 51 Texas contemporary artists), co-founding Dallas Visual Art Center and the Emergency Artist Support League, and organizing the Texas Sculpture Garden for Hall Office Park.

The TEXAS SCULPTURE ASSOCIATION (TSA
) is a non-profit organization with the mission to provide Texas Sculptors with the opportunity to learn more about the art of sculpture and to share this artistic vision with the public through exhibitions. In the past twenty years, TSA has positioned itself as a major artistic resource both locally and nationally. Members include artists, teachers, business professionals, small companies, collectors and large corporations, all of who have strong interest in sculpture. Events, including lectures, exhibits, tours, workshops, potluck suppers, give members the opportunity to share ideas, techniques and exchange information on their experiences.
