The Ice House Cultural Center and Arte Oak Cliff announce a call for entries for the SUR DEL TRINIDAD (South of the Trinity) Juried Art Exhibition.

ELIGIBILITY
An invitation to submit entries is extended to all visual artists who live or have art studios south of the Trinity River in the City of Dallas.
Artwork in all media will be considered. Only work completed in the last three years will be eligible. Artwork must be ready for installation (frames, wires, pedestals, etc.) at the time of delivery or it will be declined. If a work of art requires complex installation, the artist will be responsible for the hanging/installation of the piece. The Gallery Manager will coordinate and supervise such special installations with the artist. For installations that require special equipment (electrical, sound, visual, audio materials) or any other special hardware, it will be the responsibility of the artist to supply such materials.
No artwork shall be removed from the gallery before the closing date.

JURORS
A jury panel will select the artwork for this exhibition. The three jurors for this year’s Sur del Trinidad show are:
SARAH JANE SEMRAD, Executive Director of La Reunion, a non-profit artist residency program in Oak Cliff;

TINA MEDINA, Professor of Painting, Drawing and Art Appreciation at Mountain View College;

JOSE VARGAS, Gallery Coordinator of the Ice House Cultural Center, Art Photographer and Independent Curator.
