"As a native Dallasite, my love for White Rock Lake began at a very young age.  As a child, I would swim in the lake and play in the sand on the beach at the Bath House.  Perhaps that was the beginning of my love of working with clay.  Going to the lake to swim was always a family outing with my mother, cousins and aunts of which I have very fond memories. As a teenager, my high school had parties on the Bonnie Barge.

I now spend many hours each week running at the lake, which is where I got my inspiration for my paintings and my sculptures. White Rock Lake is one of my favorite places and art is one of my passions."
